Hello everyone, it´s me again, Benjamin.

Well, first of all say that the choice of this topic was very difficult, because I was undecided about that topic choose, but finally I was decided write about a person expert on my field that I admire, because this person is intelligent, expert in Public Administration, has a series of academic titles related with this field of expertise and is an example to follow for me due to entire experince that has, for all this I think that should write about this person and published in my blog. 

Cristián Pliscoff it was Director of the Escuela de Gobierno y Gestión Pública at the Instituto de Asuntos Públicos. Also it was President of the Red Interamericana de Educación in Administración Pública and currently  is member of the editorial committee at the magazine Public Administration Review and Coordinator of the Magister in Government and Public Management at the Instituto de Asuntos Públicos and has made a series of academic publicaions related with Public Administration as “Exploring the Type of Moral Reasoning of Chilean Civil Servants”, “Toward a Society under Law: Citizens and Their Police in Latin America” or "Ethics and Public Administration in Latin America".

He is Doctor in Public Administration of the University of Southern California, Magister in Administration and Public Policies of the London School of Economics and Political Science, Magister in Political Science of the Universidad de Chile and Public Administrator of the Universidad de Chile. Is for all its experience on the field of the Public Administration and everything he has achieved inside of this, that Cristián Pliscoff is a person on that I admire.

The music in my life

Hello everyone! It’s me again and at this moment I’m going to write about one of the topic that more I like it, that more calls my attention and that is one of my favorite pastimes, I talk of the music.

Music has been some very important in my life, because since that I remember, the music has been present every day of my life at all times, in fact, at the moment that I wrote this I was listening music. Sometimes, listen music or make music represent some feeling or emotion that I feel and also it entertains me, it dristracts me, it helps me to concentrate or just reminds me some good moment of my life.

I still remember the first song that I listened and I liked, was “Love me do” by The Beatles. I remember The Beatles with much affection, because was the first band of music that I listened in my life. I still listen the songs of The Beatles and when I listen to its songs brings me back many memories of my childhood.

Nowadays I listen any type of music, but I’ve always liked rock music more. Bands of music as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Faith No More, Pearl Jam, Arctic Monkeys among others are parts of my playlist on Spotify, but my favorite group of rock anglo-saxon is Nirvana. Also I very much like the latin american rock or rock in spanish and groups as Los Tres, Los Prisioneros, Sumo, Sui Generis and singers as Spinetta, Charly García or Gustavo Cerati also are part of my playlist and a great influence at the moment of write and compose my own songs, justly this last singer in its stage of soloist or in its stage with Soda Stereo is my favorite musician/band of latin american rock.

The last song that I listened is “Fearless” form the “Meddle” album by Pink Floyd and I can say that this album is very well maked, is a great piece of art and all its songs are perfects. Really I recommend listen the album “Meddle” by Pink Floyd, especially the song “Echoes”.

A sunset over Santiago

Hello everyone, it’s me again and today I will write about my favorite photograph. Generally, take photographs is one of my favorite pastimes and therefore is one of the things that I’m making more during the day. I have photographs of my cat, with my family, with my friends, photographs of some landscape, some thing or some moment of the day that I found fascinating.

This photograph that, obviously was taken by my, was captured from the side of the Cerro San Cristóbal on April 15th, 2017 and besides, in this photo can be seen some trees and bushes, but mainly can be observe a beautiful sunset over Santiago.

Obviously choose a photograph that I like, among many other photographs is difficult, but this photograph that I select is one of the photographs that I like most, because reminds me a moment very special of my life, besides of be one of the photograph most beautiful that I have taken.

My favorite movie

Hello again, I’m Benjamín and today I’m going to write about my favorite movie and another type of information related with movies.  

Watch movies are one of my favorite pastimes and I spent a large part of my day watching any type of movies, also I like go to cinema every week, this is the reason that it’s very difficult for me choose a favorite movie, but I can choose a favorite movie for the quality of the movie’s soundtrack, quality of action of the movie’s cast, the quality of video and photography and obviously that have a good history and argument, considering the above I can say that my favorite movie is Interstellar by Christopher Nolan, because the soundtrack of this movie is magnificent, the story is very well counted, the argument of the movie is based in scientific source and the interpretation of Matthew McConaughey as Cooper is amazing and wonderful.

Really I recommend watch movie!

My favourite piece of technology

Hi everyone, I´m Benjamín and today I’ll talk about my favorite piece of my technology. This device is interesting and very useful in the daily life, because may be used to many things necessary for people, like communicate with others people, keep audio-visual records, access the internet, listen to music, watch videos online, among others things, I’m speaking of the smartphone or cellphone.

My first cellphone I got it at the age of 10 when I was going to school and the smartphone that I have in this moment I got it approximately one year ago and since then I have used it to communicate with my family members and my friends through of phone calls and text messages of Gmail or Whatsapp, in addition to listen music in Spotify.

This smartphone I occupy all day and all days of the week, because I have used it practically to everything and entertained me and I like because I can listen all the world’s music.

My life without the cellphone would very boring because would not be entertainment and the tools I use daily.

My career uwu

Hi everybody!! I am Benjamín and in this moment I am student of Public Administration at Universidad de Chile, but I remember when I was a child want to be a veterinary and not public administrator, basically because all my life loved animals and I want help them somehow.

In the moment of join to university, before choose this career my second options was pedagogy in the history but finally I decide for Public Administration, because I liked curricular of this career and the approach humanistic.

My experience in this university has been very rewarding, because I found great friends and I like most of the university subjects, though recently I have felt very stressed and boring with the career in general.

Finally, I would like working in the Ministry of health or any job related with this ministry, because I’m interested the topic of health and public policy.

My Auto Biography

Hi, my full name is Benjamín Iván Lagos Gálvez and I was born in Santiago twenty years ago on October the 22nd and I lived all my life in this city.

At present  I'm student of Public Administration at Universidad de Chile in Escuela de Gobierno y Gestión Pública one year ago.

I live with my parents and my little sister, but I have one more sister and one brother. I like play the guitar and drink beer with my friends of high school in ours house. I like watch series and films on Netflix everyday.  Also I like very much listen music, especially rock music and my favorite band is Arctic Monkeys.

I have one cat and her name is “Pepita” and she is very beautiful and has made happy my day to day since that arrived my house.
